Community charter

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This charter sets out the spirit of Entre Motards and how we live together as members. It complements the terms of use. By browsing the site, using the app, or creating an account, you accept this charter: no extra click is required. If anything conflicts with the terms of use, the terms prevail.

What we stand for

  • Free hosting: stays between members are free for hosts and riders. No commission, no side payments.
  • Hospitality: a roof on the road, and often a real meeting. Host as you would like to be hosted.
  • Respect: for people, homes, time, and everyone’s privacy.
  • Trust: honest profiles and listings; the exact address and contact details only after a request is accepted.
  • Mutual help: lend a hand, report what goes wrong, leave things ready for the next rider.

Who can take part

  • The community is for adult motorcyclists (18+).
  • One account = one person. Accurate identity and details; no fake profiles or multiple accounts to dodge the rules.
  • The map and public listings are open without an account; requests, hosting, and messaging require one.

On the road and at the host’s place

  • Hosts remain free to accept or decline a request. Guests respect that choice.
  • Be clear about dates, type of stay, and your message. Give early notice if you cancel or run late.
  • At the host’s place: discretion, cleanliness, respect for the home and any house rules. This is not a hotel.
  • No payment for the night. Small gestures (coffee, a thank-you gift) stay optional and never required.
  • Road safety and the law remain your responsibility (helmet, vehicle condition, traffic rules).

Profiles, listings, and messages

  • Photos, text, and details must be genuine and up to date. No unlawful, hateful, pornographic, misleading, or unauthorised promotional content.
  • Private messages and community channels are for planning a stay or helping each other: no harassment, spam, or off-topic pitching.
  • Do not share another member’s address or contact details outside the intended flow (accepted request).
  • Reviews after a stay stay factual and respectful.

What does not belong here

  • Discrimination, threats, violence, or intimidation.
  • Misusing the platform for paid lodging, selling contacts, or cold outreach.
  • Evading moderation, identity theft, or bulk scraping of data.

Reporting and moderation

If something goes wrong, report it in the app (profile, conversation, listing) or via the Contact page. The team may warn members, limit an account, suspend or delete a profile, and remove content. Serious cases may be referred to authorities when the law requires it.

Your part

By staying on Entre Motards, you agree to live by this charter day to day. That is what keeps free hospitality working over time.
